AMAZING FACTS ABOUT FLEAS...

Fleas do not fly. Instead, they jump from one place to another. In fact, fleas can jump as high as 8” vertically, which is 150 times their own height. If we could do this, we would be able to leap over skyscrapers!

Fleas can jump around 30 thousand times in a row!

Fleas can lift objects 150 times heavier than their own body weight.

Females can consume 15 times their own body weight in blood on a daily basis.

Originally ‘lapdogs’ were bred to keep fleas away from their owners.

The idea was that the flea would bite the dog and not its owner.
